Administration

Since May of 2017, administration, oversight and management of the airport has been contracted out to Surry County who employs an Airport Manager to handle these duties. Day-to-day operations have continued to be provided by a contracted third party, Ra-Tech Aviation. Effective January 1, 2021, day-to-day operations will cease to be contracted out to a third party and will be handled by Surry County.
